Sales Support Administrator

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Our rapidly expanding advanced photonics design and manufacturing company needs the skills and drive of a Sales Support Administrator who is looking to further their career at one of Silicon Valley’s most exciting companies to work at. The successful candidate will take the helm of executing all back office functions of our client facing teams.

The candidate will report to, and work closely with the head of Customer Experience to achieve the company’s desired metrics. The position is based out of our Headquarters in Santa Clara.

Major responsibilities:

  • Guard ACP by maintaining the confidentiality of information.

  • Drive results, focusing on accountability to performance metrics, and value drivers.
  • Provide oversight of day-to-day tasks. Ensure that work is completed according to established schedules.
  • Process all customer purchase orders, order amendments, work orders, purchase requisitions, shipping documentation, and RMAs.
  • To be a point of contact for clients to answer general enquires via, phone, email and text including, but not limited to: order related issues, scheduling, shipping schedules, and corrective actions.
  • Support the sales team with documentation, customer follow ups, and general administration work.

Our requirements (to be considered you must have):

  • A High School Diploma / GED, an Associates degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least two years of sales support, customer service, or data entry experience.

Critical success factors (we’ll give strong preference to those who have):

  • A college degree.
  • Previous work experience:
    • Direct experience in Telecom, automotive, industrial, or medical verticals.
    • In technical sales support, project management administration, or direct customer-interactive technical support for engineered products or services.
